Ruby Bingo
Overview
Ruby Bingo is a standalone bingo site from the William Hill Group. Like its sister site William Hill Bingo, it also uses the Virtue Fusion bingo software for its games. As well as many bingo games there are plenty of online slots too.
With an attractive welcome offer and promotions running weekly, Ruby Bingo has a lot for players. Keep reading this review to find out more.
Welcome Bonus
Ruby Bingo offered players a £5 no-deposit bingo bonus upon creating an account. Since it has closed down now obviously this bonus is no longer available.
Weekly offers included a 10% bingo bonus up to £50 and all players could enjoy this once a week. The wagering requirements on bonus amounts were set at 4x which is standard for online bingo sites.
Bingo Games
As we mentioned, Ruby Bingo used the popular Virtue Fusion bingo platform for its games. This is the same software that Sun Bingo and bgo Bingo use as well as many other top bingo sites. This meant that games included branded titles like Rainbow Riches Bingo and Age of the Gods Bingo. There are of course standard 90, 80, and 75-ball bingo rooms that aren’t branded.
Ticket prices start as low as 1p and then get higher as the cash prize gets more expensive. The maximum amount it reaches for one bingo card is £1 for each. This means that players with all budgets can play here.
Slots
There are also many slot games available especially a large number from Playtech. You’ll also find classics such as Rainbow Riches and Starburst. The online slots have different themes, one minute you’re hunting for treasure in Egypt, and the next on a safari.
Spins start as low as 10p each and you can make this lower by altering the number of paylines, but we don’t advise doing this. Another game type that might interest you is online scratchcards. These are the same as the ones you find in shops but you use the mouse or your finger instead of a penny from your wallet.
Ruby Bingo on Mobile
Unlike William Hill Bingo, Ruby Bingo doesn’t have a mobile bingo app to download on iOS or Android devices. So, the only way to play is by going to www.rubybingo.com in a mobile browser like Chrome or Safari. It’s simple to play on a phone or tablet device you just need to make sure you have a stable internet connection. Some enjoy playing on the go whilst others prefer the small screen at home.
24/7 Customer Support
Being part of the William Hill Group means that there is 24/7 customer support on offer. The following methods are the contact options available.
- Email – support@rubybingo.com
- Phone
The phone line is toll-free so you won’t have to pay to get help here. If you email then replies can take up to 2 days, so we suggest calling instead. As well as these options, there’s a self-help guide where you can find answers to questions on all site topics.
Ruby Bingo Review Summary
Ruby Bingo is a nice bingo site, but not one of the best around. We even prefer its sister site William Hill Bingo. That said you can find the great bingo games from Virtue Fusion and hundreds of online slots. These include jackpot titles and scratchcards if they are of interest. The bingo tickets start as low as 1p and 2p so low-stakes players can enjoy bingo here.
The 24/7 customer support is another big plus point and we wouldn’t expect anything less from William Hill. The welcome offer is small but at least you don’t have to deposit to get it. There isn’t a bingo app though and the mobile version of the website can feel clunky at times.
NOTE – It’s important to understand that Ruby Bingo is no longer operating. We’re leaving this review live for historical purposes.
